About the speakers:

  • Shafat Qazi, PE, MSc Eng, CEO & Founder at BQE Software

After graduating from the State University of New York, Shafat started working at David C. Breiholz, Inc in California. He went on to become a partner in the firm and was appointed the chairman of Structural Engineers Association (SEAOC) Computer Applications Committee. While working as an engineer, Shafat also developed a billing software for professional services firms and eventually left his firm to devote himself full-time to the new company - today BQE Software.

  • Erin Sweeney, MBA (Exec) MSc Eng, BSc, Western Australia Manager at Mec Mining

Erin is an experienced mining professional who has worked across a broad range of commodities. She currently runs the West Australian Operations for MEC Mining, a mining focused engineering consultancy. Her background lies in geotechnical engineering, designing, modelling and implementing cost effective, innovative mine solutions in both site based and in consultative roles.

  • Allan Harriman, OAM, MSc, Director at BCA Logic

Allan has been with BCA Logic, the oldest privately owned building regulations companies in New South Wales, since 1997. He was awarded a Medal of Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the building and construction industry through professional associations and is constantly engaged with Fire Safety Engineering studies and regulations.

  • Landon Schulze, PE, BSc Civil Engineer, President at ASEC Inc (USA)

Landon has worked exclusively in the power delivery industry. In 2017, Mr. Schulze joined ASEC as a project manager and moved on to become President of ASEC Inc leading the company in program and project management, business development, internal employee professional development, and budget and goal setting for the company.
